The room was dark and dingy. The only light that was
provided was a small lantern in the corner of the room. The entire room smelled
heavily of smoke and burning wood. But there was weak smell of fresh bread. There
was only one person in the room and he was toiling away in the corner making
dough and putting dough in the wood fire oven. it felt like it was 100 degrees
in there but the baker did not seem to mind. You could hear the over crackle as
he put more wood into the oven. At the end of the say the baker tasted one of
his loafs of bread. He was satisfied. He was done for the day and he poured a
bucket of cold water onto the fire. The room instantly began to feel cooler. The
baker then cleaned up his work station and walked up the stairs exhausted but
he was proud to get through another day of work.
